• It's very simple. Select the kind of wash you are doing. (I use Normal for most loads.) Power on, select Spin, Water Temp and Soil Level. Push and hold start button. If you are the only one using the washer, the settings are remembered. However, many loads change - like for hot or cold water, delicates, whites with bleach, towels, heavily soiled work clothes, comforters, etc. I like having the choices. Very easy to change as the load dictates.
