Mine did the same thing after trying to use the Afresh cycle. I still don't know why it started working again, but it appears to have had something stuck under the wash plate (Afresh powder?) that made it sense something wrong. After moving the wash plate back and forth a few times it started working again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same model and the same problem!!! The appliance repairman ran the diagnostics and replaced the clutch ( which I waited over 3 months as it was on backorder from Maytag). The new clutch did not fix the problem. I have called another repair service as I lost confidence in the first repairman. The second repairman is researching the problem and is suppose to get back with me this week. Oh, and I have both hot and cold water going to the machine. The machine was purchased in May 2020 and the problem started in May 2022. I will never buy Maytag again!!

We would recommend contacting Maytag® at 800-344-1274. We are available Monday & Tuesday 8 AM - 8 PM and Wednesday through Friday 9 AM - 7 PM. They will be better able to assist you.
