This machine (Model 7230 and similar models) does not have a 'deep water' (or any water fill) in ANY of the Rinse cycles. The Rinse cycle only applies a slow drizzle of water on the clothes (etc.) during the "Rinse" cycles. It simply does not get dirty clothes, towels, bedding, etc., really clean. For this reason, I am in the process of returning my washer (and dyer). However, if you are washing clean clothes, this is the washer for you! I don't understand why the Maytag company (or sales representatives) do not clearly state this prior to allowing a person to purchase these washers.

Terrible machine for deep cleaning. I have sheets that come out all the time with a dry spot in the middle. They don't even smell clean.

I've been waiting for a month to receive a washer and dryer in my new home. So I have a ton of things to wash. I have washed three comforter so far and they are so clean. Way cleaner than the last machine I used. My only complaint is that this machine is louder than my last. But I'm in a new home with a different layout so that could be the reason. I'm very happy customer

I was searching for a washer that provided a water filling setting as well due to experiencing the same problem with not enough water penetrating through my clothes. This washer has a really deep drum. I haven’t washed a comforter as of yet but it’s real roomy.
