• Hello Kris, yes, you can turn the cycle signal off. The knob all the way to the right you and turn on and off. Thank you for your inquiry on our Maytag appliances.

• Yes! And I recommend it, it's a really loud buzz. Just turn the knob on the far right to off, no need to push it.
