Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If using steam option often , you should consider a fan vent for your laundry room. Or vent through window. Your washer will give off water vapor also on hot cycles., similar to a hot shower. The cold water line is required for a machine with the steam option to produce the steam. For lint screen issue check your outside vent pipe and piping. These vents & pipes can back up venting when filled with accumulated if house is old and previous machines were used. Hope this helps.
