Yes but it has to be done under the dryer or inside the dryer , not a easy job. After I read the instructions for the side vent kit, I went with cutting in the wall for the dryer pipe. Remember that all of your measurements must add for a elbow ( you can buy a close dryer elbow from HD ) going up to your vent pipe on the back or side. I had to notch my sheetrock wall for the solid metal vent pipe going up in the sheetrock wall before I used a adjustable elbow to my vent pipe for the dryer vent which is going up to my ceiling dryer vent to the outside vent. The measurements for the dryer does not have the dryer vent pipe leaving the dryer going up or down , or side says. You have to add 3 inch or more for the dryer vent pipe. GOOD LUCK WITH THE DRYER VENT! I DID NOT WANT BEST BUY TO TAKE BACK THE DRYER.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bobby, yes this Dryer can be vented from the back, sides, or bottom. In order to do this, a separate Vent Kit (part# W10704365) would need to be purchased separately. More information on venting can be found in the Installation Instructions, https://www.maytag.com/content/dam/global/documents/201508/installation-instructions-W10725269-RevB.pdf.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure. We do have a small washroom and even though they are large capacity they fit well. Venting port is toward back of dryer. I imagine if your vent is toward side you would just need enough width. We took measurements of our location and went to store and measured off the space. We wanted a good set and weren't rushing it. Hope that helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it can. There are knock outs on both sides of the dryer. It also has a knock out underneath if you need to vent it down.
