Questionordered online...driver called today....I was supposed to buy power cord SEPARATELY. Don't understand how $800 dryer that is supposed to the best in the industry does not have cord or default to INCLUDE cord $ - guess some people rotate drum by hand ?

QuestionDo I need to buy a power cord separately or does it come with it? A cord was not listed as a required part for delivery install.

- Answer You will need to buy a cord and a vent hose. The installer will stall both, if you have Best Buy do it.

- Answer I just bought a Maytag dryer and you can't disengage the sensor. For Maytag to say "you may use the timed dryer cycle", sounds like they are giving me permission to use my own dryer! With this design option I am using electricity I don't want to if I am not at home or if it isn't convenient to remove the clothing when the cycle is finished. Very irresponsible of Maytag!!! I didn't realize Maytag was not an energy conscience company. I will never buy another Whirlpool or Maytag product.
