Yes! This can be used either as the first-time purchase and also as the renewal. When you buy this, take the code to https://www.mcafee.com/activate like you did before, but when you enter the code and log into your existing McAfee account, it will ask you if you want to extend your existing subscription. As long as you choose that option, your expiry date will be moved out by 1 year. You don't need to wait for the subscription to expire, nor do you need to reinstall. Your new expiry date will be 1 year from your current one - not 1 year from when you redeem the code so you don't lose any time. And since we constantly update our software, the latest has already been installed on your devices so no need to install anything further. Everything will continue to help you stay protected.
