DOES THIS TAKE HMDI CABLE BOX TO COAXAIL TV null

This box takes a coaxial digital input and sends it out on the coax in analog for older tv's, or send out the picture on composite or component cables or it will take the signal and send it out in either 720 or 1080 on the hdmi cable. It has a selection for the coax input to be either cable or off the air. I tried using the coaxial output from my Dish receiver to my tv, but the proprietary digital signal Dish sends on it's coax was not recognized as channel 3 in the box.

If you mean does it have an HDMI input, no.
