“I tried to use a XGA computer monitor with a HW-150PVR and an Insignia HDMI to VGA adapter. It appears to provide a normal tv picture except that there is a green rectangle in the middle of it, message 'INPUT SIGNAL OUT OF RANGE". Why does it do that?”

• The xga doesn't accept the resolution that you are using. Go into the settings and change the video output of the tuner.
