“Is this walker easy to put in a car and to open up? Is it practical to have just for shopping?”

• No.It difficult to fold with pull instead seat. Wheels do not help when trying to get walker into storage. Advertising as aluminum is misleading it weighs as much as my old walker which is far more me mechanically convenient. Shortly it stinks.
