This particular camera has only a 67-degree field of view, which is recommended for framing one person (compared to the 90-degree field of view on "wide angle" webcams, which can easily frame two people). Depending on the videoconferencing application you use, you may also be able to blur the background or apply a backdrop for additional privacy.
