You can plug it into any 5 volt USB with this cable "USB to 3.5mm Barrel Jack 5V DC Power Cable" $8.99 from Amazon. Too bad Best Buy does not have such a cable, but maybe they will add it. Useful with other devices I have, not just Memorex CD player.
