Please try again later.Yes, this device supports 2.4GHz & 5GHz however depending on your device that’s connected to your network, (ie. phone, tablet, smart plug) eero will automatically switch back and forth to which one to connect to for the best speed and reliability possible. This is true for devices that support both 2.4GHz & 5GHz. If not, eero will connect device to just 2.4 or just 5GHz

When the person from Geek Squad came to my house to set up the Eero package. He asks me which one i wanted and i told him the 5ghz. so now on when i or my family come home and log onto the wifi. it automatically goes onto the 5ghz and the 2.4ghz is set up for guests. good product. i have a 1050 sqft home and i got the eero - Mesh WiFi System (1 eero + 2 eero Beacons) and its signal is beyond my property. i go onto the street and i still have wifi signal halfway into the street.
