Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Per the Eero developer: There's a max of 112 connections per radio; those are associated clients, and it doesn't matter whether they're active or not. There are, obviously, two radios per eero. Performance gradually declines as you go past about 30 active clients. Clients that are just sitting there doing nothing, just staying connected, don't count towards that. The performance degradation is gradual, not a cliff; you might be able to get total throughput of 600 Mbit/sec with four clients, 500 Mbit/sec with 30 clients, but with 40 you might only get 400, and with 50 clients you might only get 300. With 100 clients on that one radio, you would probably be able to get something like 100 Mbit/sec total. These numbers are intended only for illustration purposes- obviously performance in your environment may be very different and will depend on a great number of factors, including how good the radios on your client devices are. Clients generally aren't very smart; a lot of them assume you only have one wifi access point, so once they've grabbed onto it you might need to disconnect and reconnect to get them to evaluate other nodes in your eero network. Be assured, we are working on improving this, not just by making our mesh smarter, but also by working with client device manufacturers to improve things from their side too." https://www.reddit.com/r/eero/comments/5pepk8/maximum_connections_per_eero_clarification/dcqnu9n/
