Yes. Whoever initiates Storytime on the portal, the book image the other person sees (full screen) is in a small window, and the words to the book appear on screen. After you read a page, you swipe the screen and the next page appears. If you get a portal, you can read to your grandson and he can sit back and enjoy the images of the book on his portal with you as the characters. I read my grandkids books every night. We both have portals.
