“I am trying to get a portal that will hook to the TV AND has zoom capabilities. It seems that Portal TV hooks to the TV but doesnt have Zoom and the Portal MINI has ZOOM but doesnt have an input to connect to the TV for bigger screen”

Unless they come out with a different model you'll have to choose between one or the other.
