2 is better
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Honestly just about everything was improved on, but most notably is the new chip allowing for more complicated and demanding games to be played. The resolution got a big bump. A huge thing is their Airlink-- which allows you to not only play stand alone quest applications, but also wirelessly hook up to your gaming computer, which then allows you to the full oculus market / Steam VR market ( VR games that require a PC to run properly) AND play them without being tethered down like the Rift series. The quest 2 isn't just intended to upgrade from the original quest but also replace their other lineups like the Rift-S. So to make a short story long, the Quest 2 is a solid improvement and I'm a fan.
