It's very common to find the default headstrap uncomfortable after a while so getting a headstrap replacement will drastically help improve your VR experience for a long time. The base battery for the Quest 2 lasts around 2 hours so getting an extension on the battery such as using the Elite Strap with battery or using a powerbank. You can play Steam VR games wired using a USB-C to USB-C cable or wireless using Oculus Airlink or Virtual Desktop but you might notice a slight lag. If you really want to go above and beyond, you can buy face covers, replacements and other accessories from reputable 3rd party stores like VRCover and Kiwi.
