No, the Quest 2 is a standalone unit. It can be used on its own, completely independent of a PC. It can be connected to a PC with third-party tools, but it can work completely on its own.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can use a windows PC (I just use a Macbook) or your mobile device. All you need to set up is the Oculus app - I haven't encountered any part of the headset where I specifically need a windows PC.
