No they will not. I wish I did.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because Facebook makes/owns the Oculus devices and, therefore, made the decision to require the use of a Facebook account to register and use the product. The headsets WILL NOT WORK without a Facebook account. My advice....set up a bare-bones Facebook account with minimal information if you really want to get one of these devices....and only use the Facebook account for this purpose. Otherwise, you miss out.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Some people have said, Facebook makes the Oculus VR. Technically, they do not. META makes the VR headset. The reason for Facebook needing to be involved can be found on Meta's website. In short, it's a great way for friends and people to find each other for gaming. Meta also owns Facebook, Whatsapp, and several other companies. In short, starting in August 2022, you will no longer need to have a Facebook Account. You will be able to create a Meta account. This is a very nice touch because, frankly, I don't want my kids having to create a Facebook account just to use the Meta-Quest 2 (aka Oculus 2, same product, just rebranded) I don't care if the legal age is 13 or so depending on the state or country. Social media is just not a good place for kids to be on. Pier reviewed research shows this. I'm really glad Meta smartened up. Just wait until August 2022 and you won't need a Facebook Account. You can find this news on Meta's website directly. Hope this helps. https://store.facebook.com/quest/products/quest-2/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Was thinking about buying these until I read that 1) Facebook acct required and 2) Facebook owns the company. Will never allow these in my home.
