My son got his when he was 12, so is the ten yr responsible and have safe place in his room for electronics? You need a Facebook account to link to. As for games we haven’t connected to our steam account yet, my son says the good games you have to buy, beat saber is a good game l haven’t seen any explicit lyrics songs.

Assuming you/your child don't have issues with VR in general I'm confident in saying there is plenty of age appropriate content for a 10 year old. From games to learning. The biggest thing I can suggest is making sure the headset fit is correct. In both snugness as well as the clarity in image. The lenses have 3 settings to adjust for placement. If these aren't correct it can cause some significant eye strain and headaches. If your child's head is "too small" to fit the narrow setting this could be an issue.
