Typically you have to download the game on the devices separately, but you can add them to all the devices library simultaneously. Also soon some games that work on the 3 may not work with previous gens
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.All games for now will be backwards compatible with the 3 and 2. But the same cannot be said for the 1. It isn't supported by Meta anymore meaning game studios have stopped updating and releasing games for it. So while some might be backwards compatible for now, don't plan on it. But the 2 and 3 will both be backwards compatible with each other for the time being until a studio makes a game that is too powerful to run on the quest 2, which probably won't happen for a while. Also even after that happens, the quest 2 will be supported for a very long time because of the user base and the fact that they are still selling quest 2s even after the quest 3's release.
