- Answer While using this cable as designed you are viewing display provided from your PC. You can transfer from PC to Quest as well, but only similar to an SD card or cell phone. If your PC is on wireless you are still playing on wireless, and the converse is also true. Wired PC wired to Quest yields a wired experience.

- Answer Hi there, Thanks for the question, we would be more than happy to answer that for you! The Link Cable is designed for fast information transfer which normal USB-C type cables are not really used for, as they are typically used for slower information transfer and charging. So while you could connect to your PC with a regular USB-C to transfer data or update your device, you wouldn't be able to play games using PCVR. We hope this helps!

QuestionI need to hook Meta Quest 3 as DisplayPort / HDMI wired (due to VPN) to Mac with DisplayPort over Thunderbolt / USB-C, so I can mirror Mac display like 75" TV at elbow distance, it's the only way I still can read, will it work, or I need other dongle(s)?

- Answer You need a proper type C connection. I would mirror using wireless (virtual desktop or meta streaming) instead of buying a billion dongles.

- Answer 16 ft is really long, but you could try a usb extender. But check the Oculus forums to be sure.
