• Its not just for shallow mount subs I have a regular dual coil sub 5.75" in depth with room to spare probably could go another .25 to six inch depth maybe more someone said 7 but might be right against the wall of enclosure and you wouldn't want that. hope that helps I did not measure mine should have but its already mounted now.
