• A:Answer yes it fits the 2014 ford edge with the 4.2 inch screen. The ford edge comes with either a 4.2 inch screen or an 8 inch screen from the factory. This kit WILL NOT WORK for the 8 inch screen version, only the 4.2 inch model

• A:Answer the space at the bottom is to accommodate a DDIN aftermarket stereo. The included screen at the top is for the AC controls.
