• A:Answer With my Miata I needed more pins from a second harness and had to tie one of the SWC wires into ground to get it to work properly. It all depends on your new head unit and if your car's SWC is done analog or digital. Analog will work, digital needs a converter ( ~80$ ) for most head units.
