It is mobile in the way if you were to travel, with a laptop, it has a storage compartment built in underneath in the battery compartment. You would store the USB transceiver there. You could use this mouse on multiple computers.The mouse was the same size as the one it replaced.

This is a full size mouse. It is a little slimmer. It is configured for left- or right-hand use. Definitely does not have a small footprint.
