Your 24-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is delivered directly to your console. Redeem it during initial console setup or later in the Settings app. To redeem during initial setup: As you set up your new console, you’ll be prompted to redeem the Digital Direct offers that come with it. If you decide not to redeem them right away, the offers remain on the console until they’re redeemed. To redeem after setup in Settings app: Select Settings > Account > Included with this Xbox to see an overview of and redemption status of any Digital Direct offers included with your console. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select My games & apps > See all > Full Library. Look under Available offers to see your offers.

It will self load as long as you do not already have another subscription. Microsoft support had to cancel my Xbox Live to get Game Pass to be accepted. They will credit you your remaining months of Xbox Live towards your Game Pass Ultimate subscription. I stopped Xbox Live and canceled it, but unless it is zeroed out, it will not allow the preloaded GamePass to load.

Well… according to the sleeve that is wrapped around your Xbox, it says it’s already on console. But it’s asking for payment or code to redeem. I’m not paying for something I spent $350 on 24months

There’s an option in your settings that tells you what comes with the console. Other than that after initial setup, the option to claim your all access pass should’ve popped up. If everything fails call Microsoft support and they’ll be able to help you.

It would pop up when you set up your Xbox box or there a new section call included with Xbox

I bought a gaming laptop and it came with an Xbox game pass. Tell me, can I somehow give it to my friend since I don’t need it? If you can’t transfer it, how can you activate it for yourself?

The claim your subscription button comes up after initial setup of the console. Click on it and it takes a few seconds for it to activate.
