You can pay monthly for the service instead

If you're talking about the financed X box series X with the 24 month subscription bundle, then yes. I called the financing bank due to a different issue. While on the phone with the rep I asked if I could get a 1 or 3 month sub on the off chance I didnt like it. I was advised that "at this time" this is the only bundle agreed upon between the bank and retailer's.

It all depends on your budget, how often you play. Up front, yes it’s a lot of money but you have the choice of doing monthly. Also, your age, if you are a gamer then it’s a good deal but in the end, it’s your choice and your satisfaction.
