• The VPN source should not interfere with the functionality of your new Microsoft 4K Wireless Display Adapter. The content should be sent and received as intended.

• Yes, using windows+k you will be able to select from multiple broadcast options such as duplicate, extend or second screen only. Once activated the device will behave as any wired second monitor would under similar configuration. Content and source of display content is irrelevant.

• As long as the device and your laptop are connected to the same wifi network it shouldn't be a problem. The VPN is between you and the internet, not between the devices on your WiFi network.
