Yes, you should be able to. The USB that comes with keyboard and mouse links both to your workstation. You have to have the USB plugged into to your workstation for the set to work. I also use the mouse and keyboard on my smart tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used the keyboard with a different mouse on my desktop, so I'm pretty sure you can use the mouse on a laptop without the keyboard. Keep in mind there is only one dongle that controls both keyboard and mouse so you can use either or both on only one device at a time.
