“What will be the manufacturer's warranty on this product? really not looking forward to spending $180.00 to have replace parts such as bumpers, triggers & sticks myself in the first 6 months of ownership as I did on my 3 other original Elite controllers.”

There is just the 90 day Limited Warranty from Microsoft. I'd recommend an extended warranty on any gaming console... I have a "Red" Microsoft Xbox One Controller and with less than 40 hours of gameplay, the right joystick began to "drift" and the crosshairs on Modern Warfare are moving on their own to the left at times...

Please try again later.What I’ve been doing is buy the 2 year protection from Best Buy, keep the purchase date somehow (you can use Best Buy account, sign in and check also). No matter if it’s broke or not, before the two years just go get a new one. When you get a new one all you have to pay for is another 2 year protection plan. (Which on this is $40 now I guess), But it is worth it. Like me right now, I have 1st gen elite. I’m gonna bring it in, get my 150 credit, get the gen two for and additional $30, and buy the plan also. Another suggestion is, when you bring it back, switch the d-pad and joysticks to the ones you don’t like and keep the ones you use for spares
