I spoke to in Microsoft ambassador over Twitter and they said that there was a first version of the elite 2 and there were many problems like the outstanding bumper problem that was in the elite 1 carried over to the elite 2. Microsoft pulled the product and are trying to now put the 2nd iteration in to production without telling any of the 1st iteration owners that there are huge defects with their controllers. My elite 2 that I bought in December broke in February. The Microsoft ambassador was not able to confirm if the issue that broke my controller was fixed in the new version. My right bumper broke.
