“With my old Xbox One my TV would turn off and on with the Kinect attached. Now that I have my Xbox One ax my TV does not turn off and on. Is it because I do not have the Kinect attached or is there another problem? Will this adapter fix my problem?”

• When using the Kinect adapter, instead of using the Kinect IR blaster, it only uses the X's built in one

• It still works with the adapter but you probably need to go through the configuration. I followed these steps to set up the Kinect to power on/off my TV, soundbar and cable box. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/live-tv/set-up-live-tv

• The Xbox itself has a setting to turn on off other units when to need on. Could have something to do with it. Go to settings and take a look.
