A:Answermy wireless mobile 3500 mouse only uses 1 battery and does not have the 4 slot switch on its bottom that you mentioned is on yours...are you sure you have the right model number of your mouse?
A:AnswerI just tried it at 7-1/2' between the mouse and where the sensor plugs into the USB port on the laptop and it worked. Can't imagine anyone using it at that distance since I couldn't clearly see what was on my laptop. Anything above that, it still worked but the pointer was slower to catch up. I do recommend it.
A:AnswerTypically this has to do with the computer's ability to handle interrupts from Bluetooth devices. The Bluetooth receiver ads a layer of complexity to the process of handling interrupts. My wireless keyboard has a similar problem. I just have to wait until the memory clears up and acknowledges the Bluetooth device for keyed inputs. My mouse does what yours does from time to time, but it is not as bad as the keyboard; why, because the interrupt for the mouse is in a different memory location than the one for the keyboard. However, both get overloaded when the computer has been ordered to do a complete memory scan and both freeze then.
A:AnswerThere is no little switch on the thumb side of this model. In fact there is no switch on any “side.” However, the switch on the bottom (underneath) is to turn on the power for the mouse. The power is provided by a 1.5 volt battery.
