Good luck with that! I was misled by a Best Buy "expert" at my local store that I needed to purchase the software again to load it onto a new laptop I purchased from them So, when I returned home I purchased the laptop and software on Best Buy's website. The software was 99.99, plus tax. Turns out my existing Microsoft 365 software on my old pc automatically uploaded to my new pc when I set it up, along with my existing files because the 365 was already part of my Microsoft account. So, I never downloaded, or activated the software I purchased with the new pc. I tried in vain for several hours to get someone on the phone that could help me with a refund, but only ended up on the overseas customer service carousel. Terrible service. I won't shop with Best Buy again. Best Buy is just another faceless company that pays these overseas "customer service reps" pennies on the dollar compared to what they would have to pay America-based reps. They don't care, they don't resolve issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it can be refunded. You’ll just need to take it into a Best Buy store & the customer service dept will verify it hasn’t been activated & your refund will be issued. Hope this helps. PS. This happened to me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Best Buy employee told me to contact Microsoft, not them.
