• Yes. You can call Microsoft Tech Support and they can remotely deinstall the old version and install the new version for you at no charge.

• No you do not have to uninstall your old office version. When you install the new version, all of your office related documents will open with the new version. As an IT manager I always allow the old version to stay on my users machines in case they have difficulty doing something critical in the newest version. Haven't had a conflict or issues because of it.
