• Internet access is required to download and activate Office 2019. However, you don’t need to be connected to the internet to use the Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, because the applications are fully installed on your computer.

• No, internet access not required to use the Office Home & Business.. but internet access with Office 2019 give u a better experience. PS: Internet access required to download, and activate Office 2019. Only one time at the beginning. Dear BESTBUY: How did U allows “MicrosoftFAQ” to ask the question? >_< it’s supposed to be the answer LOL.
