You get a product key at time of purchase with instructions to install it yourself. Very easy!

If you don't have those programs already installed on your computer, you just go to the windows website and download them. They make it fairly easy.

They are great and very knowledgeable... They can help you get set up. Even if the service is not free any more, it is worth the money. Ask them also about webroot security
