“For long time users of this keyboard: Do you have any keys which have letters rubbing off/fading? I have that issue on other MS keyboards (Sculpt, 4000, etc.). I'd rather not buy new keyboards every year (I use them for both business and home via a KVM)”

Bought my 2nd one for my home office recently. The one I use at work I have used for 2+ years with no letters fading from any buttons.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been using this desktop for well over 2 years now. When I traveled to another location, I even bought a setup to keep there so I wasn't lugging the whole thing back and forth. With almost daily use, I think there was 1 letter (out of both keyboards) that had started to fade just a little while ago. To be honest, I rarely look at the keyboard, except when I need to air blow it to clean any dust off. You may need to replace it at some point for some reason or another, but I think the issue you have asked about will be the least of your worries.
