Bummer about that. Its a Microsoft design flaw. Broken dongle means your outfit is now worthless and you buy an entire new set up or switch to a logitech keyboard which sells replacement parts. The dongles are not programmable or interchangeable. They only work with the original hardware. Its a great keyboard but one miniscule part which breaks quite easily turns it into trash. Life's too short to try microsoft support. The end result is this answer anyway. I went that route.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The best way is to go through Microsoft customer service and ask them, but I have heard that the dongle cannot be replaced. However, i would love to hear that from an actual Microsoft employee. Keep us updated.
