• That is the way to go. Get a bluetooth usb dongle and you'll be able to connect your keyboard.

• It should work with a bluetooth dongle. I did some research for a connection issue I'm having with the keyboard and that was one of the suggestions.

• Using a Bluetooth USB dongle, this should enable you to use the Surface Keyboard just fine. Just make sure the dongle you purchase is compatible with your device at home, as well as the Surface Keyboard.
