This answer is late in coming, but I am using it with Windows 10 home version 1903. (I don't need pro on this system.) As far as Windows 10 goes, it is just another keyboard.

I know they have the same design for each of Microsoft surface models. This tablet runs windows, but as far as I know Microsoft has the surface pro and go and each one can use these keyboards not necessarily interchangeably. They each are different sizes but same design.

Yes, Microsoft releases drivers for all input devices with every build of windows 10 that is released.

It works for all windows 10 versions

Yes. No firmware or software update was needed for me.

Surface Go Signature Type Cover is only compatible with Surface Go devices due to it's ultra portable design. The Surface Pro Signature Type Cover will be compatible with Surface Pro, as well as Surface Pro 6.
