Is this Intel Core i7? null

From my understanding, Microsoft is doing what Apple is also starting to do and make their own chips.

No the 15” version comes with the AMD Ryzen Surface Edition processor.

No this is an AMD chipset. You can purchase the intel versions directly from Microsoft as the business version. The performance is a bit better on the intel version but not a deal breaker for me.
