“Are there docks that are compatible both w/ this laptop & those that have Thunderbolt 4 connectivity? I’d like to use this as personal laptop but my work-issued laptop is TB4, so need to be able to swap easily to connect to monitor, speakers, webcam, etc.”

There is not a dock that you snap the machine into - those are really going away. What you do now is purchase a media hub that usually connects via USB-C to your device. The media hub usually has 5-10 various ports for monitors, peripherals, etc. Depending on the hub you purchase - it could possibly power the laptop - but mostly likely you'll also need to plug in a power cord to your laptop as well. Overall, you just have 2 things to plug into the laptop and you're good to go.
