“Is the AMD Ryzen 7 processor loud? I ordered the Rysen 5 and it was so loud and hot I had to return it instantly. Even the simplest of things like setting up an email account made the fan run like crazy.”

I have not noticed excessive noise with the specific Ryzen 7 in this laptop or the similar Ryzen 7 in my other laptop. Sometimes windows computers may have issues out of the box with software or hardware that can make them loud under minimal load. It was hopefully just a one off issue. This laptop has been nearly silent most of the time for me.
