• Hello there, The Surface Pro 3 Type Cover will work with the Surface 2 tablet, however this cover is 2 inches bigger then the Type Cover 2 designed for the Surface 2 tablet. I hope this was helpful to you.

• Yes it is compatible w surface 2; however, the widths could be different depending choice of screen size. The connectors are the same across the Surface family.

• They are almost 2 inches difference is size diagonally.
