“Does this touch pad really "click" when you press it, and are the keys backlit?”

• The keys are backlit. The touch pad has the option to "click" if you press hard enough, but will also work with a very light, non-click, touch. (It does both)

• Yes the touchpad actually "clicks" and it certainly does have excellently back-lit keys!
