“Are the surface pro 2 covers compatible with the pro 3? I have the Suface Pro 3 but love the magenta color of the pro 2 keyboard so much better then what's offered......are they compatible and what are the differences between the two keyboards?”

They are compatible but there are a couple differences. I think the first is the size. The Pro2 size will be smaller and won't cover the screen completely. Secondly, because of that, the screen doesn't turn off w/ the magnet on the keyboard.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The type cover will fit and function. it is a different size though, so when folded over it will not cover the screen fully. the screen format is different, the Pro 3 is a 3 x 2 versus the 16 x 9 of the Pro 2

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They are not compatible, unfortunately. There may be more color options available here on BestBuy.com that are not available in your local store. Worst case scenario you can get a bluetooth, USB, or wireless keyboard instead. :-)
